{mosimage}Yep, sorry folks, but the two-week summer Melbourne season of KEATING!
has completely sold out. It's been on track to do so for a little
while, but the process was accelerated by a couple of
lovely-ta-very-much reviews from The Age
(Helen Thomson) and the Herald-Sun (Kate Herbert). so... they's all
gone. Sorry if you were looking to get a ticket, and thanks if you
already got one!

{mosimage}The Drowsy Drivers today signaled their intention to campaign "vigorously and relentlessly" for a Green Room Award.
Nominated in four categories of the Green Room Cabaret section, the
band used the words "total and utter annihilation of the opposition"
several times in the space of a five-minute press conference. "This
time we want everything," boomed singer Casey Bennetto, pounding the
table. "It's ours. It's all ours."

{mosimage}The Drowsy Drivers` "vigorous and
relentless" campaign for a Green Room Award backfired in dramatic
fashion yesterday when they won one.
Swaggering to the stage, lead singer Casey Bennetto thumped the podium
in distraught anger. "What`s all this about?" he cried, and had to be
forcibly restrained from smashing the award (for Best Original Music -
Cabaret) on the floor of Chapel Off Chapel.

In a statement released early today, the Drowsy Drivers expressed their sincere condolences to the friends and relatives of Jam Master Jay, the legendary Run-DMC DJ who was shot in a New York studio last night.
"Surely now the violence has to stop," pleaded an impassioned Casey
Bennetto at an unrelated press conference. "It's time for a truce
between New York and Australia. This vicious cycle cannot continue."
